GOD HAS HIS HAND IN EVERYTHING $100 Minimum Bid For Hand of God Rock Formation on E-Bay
Rendering the face of Virgin Mary in this rock formation would have been much more challenging, even for God. Plus, she's his Mom.
Q&A Session on this story:
Q. Why does God sometimes intervene in relatively small human events - such as providing financial support through the mechanism of rock slides that shape themselves into large replicas of his holy hand - but other times doesn't do, like, anything at all?
A. We don't know. Ask God.
Q. Are you guys making this up?
A. No. The Fun Bible Stories Editorial Board amuse ourselves at the expensse of the gullible and ignorant, but we don't need to make things up.

Pastor Spanks the Devil Out of Pre-Teen Girl (March 2009)
April 24 2009 - Paul Grayhek has set a $100 minimum bid for exclusive rights to a rock formation that appeared in his Coeur d'Alene, ID back yard on March 8. The formation, which does indeed resemble a large hand, is about nine feet high and four feet wide. He discovered the formation in his back yard after a rock slide.
Grayhek believes the hand imprint belongs to God because it was a personal sign sent to him after he lost his job. According to Grayhek, is meant to assist him financially.
Quoted in CNN, Grayhek said, ""I prayed between licking my wounds and looking for a job. We rarely get rockfalls and this formation is 20 feet from my house. It's definitely a symbol of the hand of God in my life."
Clearly, this event is more credible than more common incidents involving images of the Virgin Mary appearing in unlikely places: sandwiches and culverts. Nevertheless, the formation itself isn't portable. The lucking winner of the online auction will therefore own exclusive rights to the Hand, but will not be able to move it. Exclusive rights would presumably include "braggin' rights."
Mr. Grayhek has indicated he will use the money from the sale of the Hand to fund an unpaid internship in the field of counseling troubled youth. Undoubtedly, they will be far less troubled after Mr. Grayhek explains how magical thinking can improve your life.
"People think I'm some holier-than-thou person trying to get rich. I'm not," Grayhek said. "The purpose is to spread the story of God and eBay is just a vehicle."
